Milano Crystal Glassware Collection

Milano glassware imported from Romania is one of the most popular collections we sell at AllThingsCrystal.com. It features a swirl design cobalt blue line patterned that gives it a unique stain glass look. The line pattern is achieved by one craftsman rotating a piece of hand-blown glassware on its axis while another dabs a rod into molten cobalt glass and spins a thin strand of it onto the lower portion of each piece. After the glass is cooled, other craftsmen hand paint blue and burgundy colors within the lined pattern as well as applying 24k gold accents in some areas. One last firing ensures that the color will last a long time.
